Elif Ilgaz Aydınlar graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1994. She completed her residency training in Neurology at the 1st Neurology Clinic of Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital, Istanbul. Dr. Aydınlar wrote her thesis on magnesium treatment for migraine. Dr. Elif Ilgaz Aydınlar, who have been working as a neurology specialist at Acıbadem Healthcare Group since 2000, is currently working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, Acıbadem University. Dr. Aydınlar received her associate professor title in 2015.

In 2014, Dr. Elif Ilgaz Aydınlar passed the European Neurology Board exam and became a “Fellow at the European Board of Neurology”. She continues to work on Headache, Clinical Neurophysiology and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring, and is one of the board of directors of the International Association of Intraoperative Neuromonitoring.

Dr. Aydınlar, who has been seeing headache patients at the Migraine Treatment Center of Acıbadem Maslak Hospital, has been dealing with headache for almost 25 years and has published many articles in major journals.
